HM8131-2
HM6050-2 Line Impedance Stabilization Network

The HM6050-2 is designed for compliance level measurements of conducted EMC emissions. The unit complies with VDE 0876 and CISPR Publ. 16 (band A and B) regulations and can be operated manually or PC controlled via the built in RS232 interface. It is designed and built using air core inductors to avoid saturation at peak current loads.
The unit comprises an artificial hand simulation per ANSI C 6.3.4, as well as a PE simulation network (50µH II 50 FACE="Symbol">W) which can be bypassed. For the protection of sensitive inputs, the output signal can be limited by a switchable transient limiter.
The HM6050-2 LISN is used with a spectrum analyzer or measurement receiver. The continuous rating of 16A makes the unit suitable for many types of single phase equipment. The maximum permissible frequency is 63Hz. The HM6050-2 can be supplied with a range of power outlets such as IEC16A, UK13A, and European standard sockets.
The LISN is, in principle, a high pass filter when viewed from the EUT (equipment under test) to the measurement terminal. The high pass filter output signal is switched from either conductor to the measurement terminal. Viewed from the power line side the LISN is a low pass filter that isolates disturbance from the power line by up to 40dB.
Compact size and light weight make the HM6050-2 an easy to use tool for commercial, ISPR based conducted emission testing on your EMC test bench. It can be used for in house compliance level measurements, reducing the need for test house time.

 NSG 1025
CDN 125/126 Capacitive Coupling Clamps

The coupling clamps are primarily used to inject interference pulses into signal and data lines, i.e. into any type of connection to peripheral equipment. Both types have the same technical features but the CDN 126 is equipped additionally with a safety interlock system (SIS).

  • Coupling clamps to IEC 1000-4-4 / 801-4.
  • For burst pulses and fast transients.
  • Injection into signal and data lines, mains and dc power supply cables.

NSG 2070 RF generator

National and international regulations on electromagnetic compatibility require that electrical and electronic equipment is designed to be resistant to induced RF signals in power lines and data lines. As radio traffic and RF interference levels continue to increase all over the world, the issue becomes one of growing importance. In a competitive market, many manufacturers are keen not just to comply with regulations today, but to optimize their designs through detailed characterization, for cost-effective development of evolving product ranges against changing standards.

In the past, the task of testing equipment for susceptibility to induced RF was lengthy and prone to error, because each test rig had to be manually calibrated and verified before the testing could even begin. Now, the NSG 2070 changes all that. It is one of the first instruments on the market to offer a simple, self-contained, self-calibrating system for fast, effective, reliable testing for susceptibility to induced RF in power lines and data lines.NSG 2070 has been designed for both compliance testing and pre-compliance characterization. The system fulfills all the requirements of IEC 1000-4-6, on which most national and international standards for susceptibility to induced RF - including European Norms - are based. (IEC 1000-4-6, EN 61000-4-6, EN 55104, EN 50082, CISPR 14-2)

The NSG 2070-1 standard generator unit incorporates a 100kHz - 250MHz HF-synthesizer and a 85W power amplifier. For higher power applications, the NSG 2070-1, or the NSG 2070-2 synthesizer-only version, may be used with an external power amplifier.

Whichever option is chosen, the front panel key pad and liquid crystal display give access to the instrument's entire range of calibration and test functions via a simple menu system. Alternatively, the system may be controlled remotely from a PC, using the Windows-based WINmodule which also provides a comprehensive suite of test management and reporting tools.

NSG 2070 is compatible with all types of power line and data line coupling options: coupling/decoupling networks (CDNs), electromagnetic clamps (EM-clamps) and current injection probes (CIPs).

Test parameters are pre-programmed so that standard procedures can be simply invoked with a keystroke. For more detailed characterization work, NSG 2070 offers the ability to create fully customized tests with user-specified parameters, and to pause tests during execution to allow closer manual inspection of the equipment under test.
